The Anastasio Group has diversified its holdings to include; a commercial and residential real estate development division, a restaurant division, an agricultural division, and a mass transit ground transportation division. An Anastasio family member either controls or operates each division. Dumpsters & carting
Added in 2004, our roll-off dumpster service was initially intended to complement several of our own businesses as well as those of our friends, partners, and associates. Well, it seems as though the best secrets are rarely kept. We have grown by leaps and bounds in a very short time based on one concept alone; Provide exceptional customer service at a competitive price and word will spread fast.
We adopted one of Andy Jr’s own philosophies early on; “Accept every challenge and grow from its result” and turned it into a credo that has shaped this growing business from the beginning and continues to drive it ahead. As the origin of our business, we are particularly proud of our achievements since 1977. What started with an old Mack B model has grown into one of the largest and most technologically advanced flatbed trucking services in the Northeast.
With over 70 late-model aluminum trailers and 40 plus of our own power units along with over 25 contracted owner-operators, A. Anastasio and Sons Trucking will haul it all. We have made a name for ourselves in the industry for our ability to accommodate all types of trucking and handling needs from material-specific tarping, to adding a fleet of pole trucks when called for.
Additionally, we count ourselves among the blessed to have one of the best and most efficient dispatchers in the business. We welcome all inquiries for trucking regardless of size and scope.

Circle of Life
Established in 2002, Circle of Life is the result of many years of hard work and determination. Given our strategic location on the rail lines and our position at the intersections of two Interstate Highways in New Haven, the inception of aRecycling / Volume Reduction Facility seemed to be a natural fit combining the efficiency of the rails and our position not only in Connecticut, but in the Northeast.
We are often asked the origin of the name Circle of Life and the answer is just as natural; the life of construction material does not end with the demolition of the structure in which it was initially used. Our facility exists to enable further use of many materials. We are especially proud of this project and continually strive to improve our processes thereby significantly reducing the waste stream and carbon footprint.
Circle of Life VRF is open to municipal and private transfer stations alike as well as demolition haulers, roll off companies, contractors large and small, and of course, the general public.
